Admission to the exhibition gives free entry to the programme of same day evening events.

Standard admission: 5.00 euros

Concessions: 2.50 euros
Recipients of French State benefits, job-seeker's allowance (RMI / RMS /RSA), young people aged 13 to 18, art students (exc. auditeurs libres), holders of France's “Carte Famille Nombreuse”, job-seekers, vocational/professional pupils at Centres de Formation d’Apprentis, holders of valid tickets for the Triennale, the beneficiaries of certain exceptional initiatives and partnerships negotiated for the exhibition.

Free admission
Under-13s, employees or retired employees of the French Ministry for Culture and Communication (plus one guest), curatorial staff of French and international public museums, journalists (including the art press), Sésame subscribers (GNGP), holders of “Laisser Passer”, members of IACA and the Syndicat de la Presse Artistique, professional artists (painters, sculptors, print-makers) affiliated with the Maison des Artistes, wounded war veterans, civilian disabled people (in accordance with conditions laid down by the Maison Départementale des Personnes Handicapées), professional teachers accompanying school groups, official French national and regional tour guides/lecturers, members of ICOM / ICOMOS, educational and youth groups (leisure activities centres, holiday activity centres, MJC, CFA, etc.) taking part in a workshop or activity with a MONUMENTA cultural educator, the beneficiaries of certain exceptional initiatives and partnerships negotiated for the exhibition, all visitors after 8 pm during the Nuits des Musées (19th May 2012), holders of pre-reservation (download on www.weloveart.net) after 8 pm during the Fête de la Musique (21st June 2012)

Visitors encounter Daniel Buren’s artwork by creating a dialogue between their body and the art, through a practical dance workshop. The relationship to the body is part of the sensorial experience of the container and the contained. The spectators/actor is initiated to this aesthetic through movement associating ambulatory vision and work on the body.

An initiative adapted to the needs of the disabled
In connection with MONUMENTA 2012, the Centre national des arts plastiques seeks to offer all publics the means for a privileged access to Daniel Buren’s work; for this reason adaptations for the needs of the disabled have been implemented.

Visitors with visual deficiencies
Special attention has been given to visually impaired visitors. A free brochure in Braille and large characters with drawings and reliefis available at the welcome desk of the manifestation.

Visitors with auditory deficiencies
Special attention has also been given to visitors with limited or no hearing. A video in French sign language presents Daniel Buren’s project for MONUMENTA.
Four tours in French sign language conducted by a deaf cultural educator and translated by a full-hearing interpreter will be organized so those with auditory deficiencies may encounter contemporary art together with those who hear on the following days :

- Saturday, May 12th, at 11 am during the Nuits des Musées,
- Saturday, May, 19th, at 8.30 pm,
- Sunday, June 10th, at 2.30 pm,
- Sunday, June 17th, at 9 pm.

Visits in French Sign Language on reservation.
